Kurakkan is known as Raagi or red millet. In Sri Lanka Ragi Flour known as kurakkan Flour. Recipes are hundreds in number and even common food stuffs such as dosa, idly and laddu can be made out of Kurakkan Flour.

Add about five tea cups of Coconut milk gradually and mix well. Keep for twenty minutes, make hopper in a well seasoned hot pan.
Prepare 5 tea cups (700-800ml) coconut milk from one coconut, Mix coconut milk gradually into Instant Hopper Mix until correct thickness is obtained. Heat pan on medium flame. Lightly coat pan with oil and return to heat until pan starts smoking. Add batter and swirl once to coat pan’s entire surface. Close pan. Cook hopper for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Gently remove hopper with spatula.
