HOPPERS

Ingredients : 150g MOGRILLS Instant Hopper Mix,1 egg, 1/4  tsp MOGRILLS Bicarbonate of Soda,Coconut milk to mix.

Method : Mix flour, egg, Bicarbonate of Soda, coconut milk to a thin batter. Allow to ferment for 30 mins. Make hoppers.Milk, Jaggery and egg hoppers can also be made.Serve with seeni sambol.

SEENI SAMBOL

Ingredients : ½kg red onions, 50g Maldive fish, 3 cardamon, 3 cloves, 1 piece cinnamon, 1 tbs coarsely powdered  dry chillies, 1 spring curry leaves, rampe, 1tbs tamarind puree, 1 tsp sugar, 1 cup oil, salt to taste.

Method : Slice onions, deep fry and keep aside. Heat 1tbsp of oil Separately, add crushed cardamon, cloves, cinnamon, curry leaves and rampe. Lastly add coarsely powdered dry chillies,  Maldive fish, fried onions, tamarind puree,salt and cook for 3 mins on a slow fire.Sprinkle sugar and take off heat.
